First day in San Francisco, its good to be back among people. I am enjoying reading Bill Fox and his musings on the high desert. This City's second hand book stores provide a good consolidation space.

After being peeped at for crossing on a red the man looked up, retreated and proclaimed, 'It's OK, I'm CRAZY!' Another man behind me added to the public proclamation by yelling, '...and proud of it!'

I forgave myself for thinking it was they who had spent the recent past in the desert, it's possible that they're still there.
