Image: Truck, Tonopah Speedway, Nevada
This is a huge truck. It is dwarfed by its surroundings. Shortly after this photo was taken, we stumbled upon the adjacent Tonopah dump, the lady working there climbed out of her huge digger to find out what I was doing. Happily convinced that I was not there to 'officially inspect the dump', there was great concern up to that point, she climbed back into her truck and rolled off. Later I heard her exclaiming to a dump patron, 'Get a load of this guy, he's an Artist and he's taking photos of our trash!'. Next in line after the dump are the Tonopah Airfield and then the Tonopah Test Range, it is quite a collection of institutions, lined up along the 3,652 mile long 'Grand Army of the Republic' highway. I have a photo of that too.
